Hwy 27—Wahkon: 2026 construction
 That's a wrap!
Good news—Hwy 27 is now open and the detour has been removed!
Crews have wrapped up reconstruction work along downtown Main St. The project brought some big improvements to downtown, including:
- A completely rebuilt roadway
- New curb, gutter and underground storm sewer for better drainage
- Bike lanes added on both sides of the road
- Updated sidewalks and pedestrian approaches
- New landscaping and streetscape elements to freshen up Main St.
 With all lanes open again, drivers, pedestrians and bicyclists should notice a smoother ride and safer travel through the area. Local businesses and destinations are fully accessible.
