Build America, Buy America Act update and webinar

The Build America, Buy America (BABA) Act requires federally funded infrastructure projects to use U.S‑made iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials. Starting October 1, 2026, manufactured products must also have at least 55 percent U.S. made components by cost.

County / City Traffic Safety Committees Peer Exchange

The Minnesota County Engineers Association (MCEA) and City Engineers Association of Minnesota (CEAM) traffic safety committees are hosting a first-of-its-kind County / City Traffic Safety Peer Exchange on November 17, 2026.

Advanced Work Zone Management and Design training

MnDOT’s Office of Traffic Engineering, in cooperation with FHWA, is offering a no‑fee, two‑day in‑person training on Advanced Work Zone Management and Design. Twelve seats are available for local agency staff on a first‑come basis, with one attendee per agency.
