D3 - Hwy 210 (Washington St.) in Brainerd: 2026-2027 construction
On Thu, July 30, and Fri, July 31, crews will install two temporary mini‑roundabouts on Oak St. in preparation for the construction of the Hwy 210 railyard segment between Kingwood St. and Fifth Ave. NE.
The temporary mini-roundabouts will be installed at:
- Oak St. and S Eighth St.
- Oak St. and SE 13th St. (Co. Rd. 45)
During installation, the intersection will be closed at times with motorists rerouted via city streets. Expect flaggers, stop‑and‑go traffic and heavy equipment entering and exiting the area. Seek other routes to avoid delays.
Travelers should yield into the roundabout circle and go slow. The center island is slightly raised and larger/longer vehicles can drive over it to make the turn safely—semi-trailer trucks, trailers campers, etc.
