On Friday, June 19 and Monday, June 22, weather permitting, the bridge beams will be set over westbound I-94! Interstate traffic was switched to head-to-head near the interchange to give crews the space they need for this work.
Once the beams are in place, crews will start on the bridge decking! After the Fourth of July holiday, they'll switch the head-to-head traffic to the westbound side and set beams over the eastbound lanes. We appreciate the traveling public's patience during these changing traffic patterns as the project progresses.
On Highway 210, crews are finishing up the underground work west of the bridge, and grading the roadway, ramps and roundabout locations, and those same operations are picking up on the east side of the bridge.
I-94 traffic for Exit 54 should continue to use the detour on County Road 1 and Tower Road (Exit 55). Please travel with care.
