D3 - Hwy 65 Cambridge to north of Braham: 2026 construction
Here’s the first update as 2026 roadwork gets underway on Hwy 65.
Over the next four months, crews will resurface and update more than 10 miles of Hwy 65 from south of 357th Ave. NE at the end of four-lane in Cambridge to south of Kanabec Co. Rd. 45/120th Ave. north of Braham.
Crews will focus on two segments of Hwy 65—Stanchfield to Cambridge and Stanchfield to north of Braham. Motorists can expect lane or road closures with detours, no shoulders and one-way traffic, at times.
What to expect through early August
Hwy 65 will be closed to through traffic with a detour in place. Local access stays open, but drivers should plan for delays, narrow lanes and shifting work areas as crews move through the corridor.
Through traffic
Hwy 65 closed between Co. Rd. 3 in Stanchfield and Co. Rd. 30 in Cambridge.
Truck detour
Know before you go
