Highway 197 Bemidji construction underway
The Highway 197 corridor improvement project is now underway. You likely haven't seen much action this week as crews have been working on utilities and shoulder work to prep the area for construction. Drivers should expect lane shifts and reduced speeds once work gets ramped up in the next few weeks. Thanks for staying alert and keeping our crews safe!
What to Expect Early On: • Crews will build temporary lanes to carry single-lane traffic through the project • Traffic shifts onto temp lanes and crews reconstruct the highway and roundabout
