Hwy 169 will be closed to traffic in both directions between Hwy 282/Co. Rd. 9 and Hwy 21 on Fri, May 8 from 12:01-5 a.m. while crews string power lines across the highway.
Motorists can bypass the nighttime closure using Hwy 21 and Hwy 282.
This work is part of the preparations to shift local access to a temporary signal at Hwy 169 and Creek Ln. in mid-May.

All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather and schedule permitting and subject to change.
Please drive with care in work zones:

- Obey posted speed limits. The fine for a violation in a work zone is $300.
- Minimize distractions behind the wheel.
