Metro - Let me know about new projects and studies in the Twin Cities Metro Area
We will be rebuilding and repairing Hwy 12 between Shoreline Dr. in Wayzata and I-494 in Minnetonka that will result in a smoother, safer road. Construction is scheduled to occur from April through November 2026.
The following work will be completed during construction:
- Rebuild Hwy 12 near downtown Wayzata between Shoreline Dr. and Central Ave. North/Co. Rd. 101
- Resurface Hwy 12 between Central Ave. North and Gleason Lake Rd.
- Repair the concrete pavement between Gleason Lake Rd. and I-494
- Crews will also repair various ramps in this area
Motorists should expect delays as well as lane and ramp closures throughout construction. There will also be one weekend closure in each direction of Hwy 12.
We are hosting a public meeting on Thu, Feb. 19 to discuss the project. The project team will present information and benefits about the project, and be available to answer your questions.
