New noise requirement MnDOT has recently completed a minor update to our noise requirements. The new requirements take effect on January 1, 2026. You can find the new requirements, update summary, and implementation plan on the noise analysis website. Read more on the new noise requirement.

Cast-in-place concrete box culverts return to the Minnesota local bridge inventory State Aid, State Aid Bridge, LRRB, RIC, and SRF Consulting developed two reports to help local agencies evaluate and design cast-in-place (CIP) concrete box culverts as an alternative to precast options.
