Metro - Hwy 169 and Hwy 282/Co. Rd. 9 in Jordan: 2025-2027 construction
Crews will reopen southbound Hwy 169 to two lanes between Hwy 282 and Hwy 21 by 5 p.m. Fri, Nov. 21.
Northbound Hwy 169 will remain one lane between Hwy 282 and Hwy 21 through spring 2026, while crews continue noise wall and bridge construction.
Northbound and southbound Hwy 169 lanes have been reduced to single-lane head-to-head traffic since earlier this year.
Crews will need a few days to shift the barriers and other traffic control devices on southbound Hwy 169. Please stay alert and drive carefully next week.
On Nov. 10, crews closed and detoured Co. Rd. 9. The road will remain closed through late 2027 while work continues on the future interchange. For detour routes, please visit the project webpage.
Plan ahead by checking 511, and give yourself additional time to reach your destination.
All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather and schedule permitting and subject to change.
Please drive with care in work zones:
- Slow down when approaching every work zone, then navigate with care and caution.
- Stay alert; work zones constantly change.
- Watch for workers and slow-moving equipment.
- Obey posted speed limits. The fine for a violation in a work zone is $300.
- Minimize distractions behind the wheel.
- Be patient; expect delays, especially during peak travel times.
