Construction is wrapping up on the new roundabout at the Highway 114 and Highway 27 intersection! Crews are finishing the final cleanup and installing new lighting, and all lanes are expected to reopen Wednesday, Nov. 12.
What to know about navigating a roundabout:
- Slow down as you approach
- Yield to vehicles inside the roundabout; they have the right of way
- Continue through the roundabout until you reach your exit. Do not stop in a roundabout
- Give large trucks extra space in a roundabout
We want to give a big THANK YOU to area residents, businesses and commuters for your patience during this year's construction season. We appreciate your cooperation and commitment to safety.
In 2026, we will return to resurface the entire roadway from Highway 55 near Lowry to I-94! That work will be completed under traffic, with lane closures and flaggers. Construction is anticipated to begin sometime after July 4. More information to come next spring/summer!

All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather dependent and subject to change. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones where workers are present, and never enter an area that's blocked by barriers or cones.
