Hwy 75 Project Update: July 11
- Highway 75 near Perley is now open to traffic. The detour has been lifted. Motorists should be aware of temporary uneven shoulders and pay attention to signs as construction continues. There is a 13-foot width limit on Hwy 75 until the shoulder paving is complete.
- Motorists can expect CR 39 to be closed between CR 106 and Hwy 75 for reclaim and pipe work beginning next week, July 14 (Stage 3). There is no official detour for CR 39. Motorists should plan for an alternate route.
- Motorists on Hwy 75 can expect shoulder closures during Stage 3 of the project while crews complete shoulder paving.
Project Stages:
- Stage 1 (completed in 2024) Stage 1 construction on Highway 75 in Perley was complete in September, 2024. The project will resume on April 28, 2025.
- Stage 2 (completed in 2025): Hwy 75 will be closed from north of 3rd St. to north of 115th Ave. Motorists will detour using Norman County roads 39 and 12 as well as Clay County roads 11 and 34. Stage 2 began on April 28 and was completed on July 9.
- Stage 3: Norman CR 39 will be closed from west of Welch St. to west of the levee. This stage will begin once Stage 2 is complete and is expected to be completed by late July. There is no official detour. CR 39 and Hwy 75 shoulders will be paved during the same time. Final shaping and seeding will take place on Hwy 75 after the shoulders are paved.
Staging information and detour routes are subject to change.
