 2025 Construction: Hwy 114 Lowry to I-94

This week and next week, crews plan to continue with ditch cleaning and replacing entrance pipes along Highway 114. Most of this work is taking place on the roadside, in the right of way, but there may be times when various entrances or approaches may be restricted for a few hours. Your patience and cooperation are important and appreciated!
We'll keep you informed on when the contractor is ready to begin on centerline culvert replacements. That new schedule is not yet known, and is dependent on the availability of another crew and weather. When the work does begin, just a reminder the roadway will be impassable at each culvert site for 1-3 days, starting on the south end, working north. More info to come!
Local traffic should always slow down—please remember you are in an active work zone, even in areas where workers aren't present. The culvert sites throughout the entire project area are currently loose gravel, so please drive slowly while approaching each one.
Please stay alert for heavy equipment and trucks hauling throughout the entire corridor. Thank you for staying committed to safety for all!

We have two years of projects scheduled on Highway 114. This year's project includes culvert replacements between Highway 55 and I-94, and roundabout construction at the intersection of Highway 27 and Highway 114. Next year, we'll come back to resurface the entire roadway.
Check the project website for project information, construction updates, and MnDOT contacts. We're here to help!
All construction activities and traffic impacts are weather dependent and subject to change. MnDOT urges motorists to always be attentive, drive with caution, slow down in work zones where workers are present, and never enter an area that's blocked by barriers or cones.
