D6 - I-90 and Hwy 52 interchange: 2024-2025 construction
Highway 52 is shifting approximately 10 feet west
Bridge beams were set last week for the Highway 52 flyover ramp that will take southbound Highway 52 traffic to eastbound Interstate 90.
More bridge beam setting is scheduled to occur this week for a portion of the eastbound I-90 bridge.
Crews are also working on Highway 52, which will shift west about 10 feet to accommodate the flyover ramp.
Bridge work is expected to continue into late summer along with excavating and rebuilding some of the ramps this season.
It all adds up to a busy construction site.

Detours
Highway 52 southbound from Rochester is open to the interchange, but is closed and detoured just north of Marion.
Southbound traffic can use the eastbound I-90 ramp toward Eyota, St. Charles and Winona.
