New TTC trainer certification course: register now!

MnDOT is excited to introduce a brand-new Temporary Traffic Control - Train the Trainer certification course. This new course is designed to certify trainers, making this critical training more accessible to transportation workers across Minnesota.

2024 AT and SRTS Infrastructure Solicitation summary

On April 10, 2025, the 2025 Active Transportation Advisory Committee Infrastructure Work Group convened and approved 25 Active Transportation projects Infrastructure projects and 23 Safe Routes to School Infrastructure projects for funding.

2025 statewide functional classification update process

MnDOT is beginning the 2025 statewide functional classification update process as required by the FHWA. MnDOT is offering informational sessions regarding the process. The first session was already held on April 30th with more than 60 participants. The second session will be on Monday, May 12th at 9:30 a.m.

Training for new(er) inspectors

Across the state we have seen many counties, cities, and even the state having trouble hiring construction staff with experience or schooling in the construction field. State Aid would like to point out some tools that are available to help you with this.
