2025 federal aid project deadlines reminder The deadline for State Aid authorization of 2025 federal projects is June 1, 2025. Please note, in previous years this deadline was somewhat flexible, there will be very few exceptions going forward. Read more on federal aid project deadlines.

New go-to webpage for traffic safety education A brand-new State Aid webpage, packed with essential traffic safety resources is now available. This webpage will feature resources that were shared across the state during a series of 18 in-person workshops in 2024 that aimed to enhance traffic safety. Funding still available for IIJA The Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill - IIJA, expires in 2026 – with less than two years left, there is still time to apply for transportation funding grants. This is a reminder that you can find open transportation grant opportunities on our state aid website.  Read more on available IIJA funding.

LTAP Snowplow Safety Simulator training reminder Registration is open for Minnesota snowplow and safety simulator training. The training is a two-hour, in-person training in December. This training is tailored for local agencies and uses state-of-the-art technology to prepare snowplow drivers for adverse winter driving and road conditions.
