MnDOT requests responses to create a highway construction training program to increase the pool of qualified minorities, women and disadvantaged individuals in the highway construction workforce in Northern Minnesota by providing participants with the skills needed to gain entry-level highway construction positions with contractors working on MnDOT projects.
MnDOT seeks responses from workforce centers, community-based organizations, training institutions, colleges, and trade associations to develop and administer a program in highway construction career development and training.
The program to be developed and delivered is:
- One adult highway construction trade training program in Northern Minnesota for up to 12 participants.
The selected entity will work with MnDOT staff and current OJT Support Services vendors to ensure that services are consistent throughout MnDOT OJT support services programs.
- Questions regarding this RFP must be received by MnDOT no later than 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on Dec. 6, 2024.
- Submit questions by email only to: OCRGrantInvoices.DOT@state.mn.us
- MnDOT anticipates posting answers to such questions no later than 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on Dec. 11, 2024.
Deadline: All responses must be received via email with a time stamp of no later than 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on Dec. 20, 2024. Late responses will not be considered.
