This is a piece of the project out of Stage 3 that was planned to be constructed next year in 2025.
It was proposed to by the contractor to move forward with this work due to workload and other constructability advantages to accelerate next year's construction schedule.
For the next couple weeks motorists will experience shoulder closures and lane shifts on Hwy 11 and Hwy 313. The road will remain open in both directions. Please drive with care and safety in mind as construction staff will be entering and exiting work areas.
Crews will begin building a temporary bypass for next years roundabout construction at Hwy 313/ Hwy 11.
Crews will build temporary pedestrian access route on the North/East side of Hwy 11.
Pavement milling for Stage 3 construction area will be completed.
Traffic Impact:
- Truck traffic should continue to use the truck detour
- In town traffic is currently two lanes on half of the roadway
- Motorists should continue to pay attention and use caution in the work zone
