![Pour bridge deck](https://content.govdelivery.com/attachments/fancy_images/MNDOT/2024/07/9865052/5589366/pour4thstbridge_crop.jpg) The new city of St. Cloud Fourth St. bridge to span Hwy 10, just south of the Hwy 23 bridge, has a new deck surface. Crews poured the concrete deck overnight Thu, July 18 to early Fri, July 18. Hwy 10 was closed under the bridge for a few hours and rerouted around the worksite. The new bridge that connects the west and east frontage roads along Hwy 10 is set to open in late October. Photo by MnDOT
Current work zone
- Hwy 10 and Hwy 23 remain open to one lane, each way, 24-7, until late October to reconstruct the lanes, adjacent connections and bridge
- All access ramps at the interchange are closed and detoured, follow signs
- Fourth St. is closed to/from Hwy 10 until late October
- 14th Ave. SE is closed to/from Hwy 23 until early August
- East half of E St. Germain St. is closed to/from Hwy 10 until mid-August
Consider these tips
- Expect changes and give yourself extra time. Try to travel outside of rush hour times.
- Cabin and vacation travelers who normally take Hwy 10 may want to consider using another route.
- Know before you go. Use 511mn.org
- See current travel speeds
- Be aware of crashes or closures
- Learn about other roadwork or detours on state highways
- Be alert to weather conditions and warnings
When open to travelers in November 2024, the interchange project will provide a smoother road surface, and improve motorist and pedestrian safety and access throughout. This is a long-term, 60-plus year investment in our infrastructure.
We will provide more information about upcoming impacts on the Hwy 10 and 23—St. Cloud interchange project web page or through these project email updates as details become available.
