D3 - Hwy 169 Milaca to Princeton: 2024 construction
July 15 to Aug. 17
Just a reminder—If you travel on southbound Hwy 169 from Hwy 23 in Milaca to Mille Lacs Co. Rd. 13 in Long Siding you will encounter delays as the road closes and detours to replace pipes beneath the road.
The closures will occur Mondays–Saturdays; all southbound lanes open on Sundays.
Southbound Hwy 169 will reduce to one lane prior to exiting at Hwy 23 in Milaca. Then you will follow detour signs along westbound Hwy 23 in Milaca, southbound Co. Rd. 5 and eastbound Co. Rd. 13, back to southbound Hwy 169 in Long Siding.
Plan ahead and give yourself some extra time. Consider traveling at off-peak times.

Tips: Use both lanes until the merge point; resist the urge to merge early; and take turns at the merge point.
