Highway 34 Akeley: June 13 update
  What's happening now?
There has been a delay in structures to complete some of the drainage work near Zappy's. This delay has caused a further delay in the final lift of pavement. The contractor expects the structures to be delivered in the next few weeks. However, rather than begin work that could potentially disrupt traffic during Paul Bunyan Days and July 4 events, the contractor will begin that work after July 4. The date of the final lift of pavement, and final striping is to be determined. Crews continue work on concrete items as well as hydroseeding.
What's next?
- Concrete punch list items
- Temporary pavement striping before Paul Bunyan Days
- Sidewalk clean up before Paul Bunyan Days
