Welcome Sophie Kalow to the MN SRTS team!

We are thrilled to introduce Sophie Kalow, the newest member of our Minnesota Safe Routes to School Team! Sophie brings with her knowledge and partnerships from across the state, having served a Safe Routes to School Coordinator metro area and most recently the Active Living lead under SHIP at a local county. Passionate about policy and system-change transformation, Sophie is dedicated to leveraging community-driven strategies to address health equity and social justice. Sophie joins us a collaborative thinking partner, ready to provide support and eager to explore how Safe Routes can enhance safety and enjoyment for pedestrians and cyclists in your community. Bike to School Day in Minnesota

More than 160 schools celebrated national Bike to School on May 8 and Minnesota had the fourth-most events in the country! But this event day is not about numbers - its about seeing the smiling faces of kids and families enjoying the outdoors and learning to commute by pedal or foot.

Upcoming Walk! Bike! Fun! Trainings

Help us spread the joy of teaching children how to ride a bike! The Walk! Bike! Fun! curriculum meets Minnesota Department of Education standards for Physical Education classes.
