Highway 34 Akeley: May 31 update

What's happening now?

• This week crews continued grading and began paving
• Landscaping, hydroseeding
• Install light poles
• Detour lifted

What's next?

Next week, crews will continue punchlist of items to complete. In the next few weeks, crews will repair drains at Zappy's. Once complete, the final lift of pavement will be placed followed by striping. 

Stage 3

• Reclaim Hillside Ave. to Fire Hall
• Storm sewer
• Concrete removals

Traffic impact: Detour lifted, use caution in work zone
