D3 - Hwy 25 in Monticello: 2024 construction
In preparation for the future bridge work, MnDOT will need to install netting beneath the Mississippi River bridge to prevent migratory birds from nesting in mid-April.
Crews will use a snooper truck parked on the Hwy 25 bridge while they attach the netting, which will require a lane closure.
Here's what to expect beginning Mon, April 1:
- Hwy 25 will be reduced to one lane, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Mon–Fri, on good weather days. The work will take up to five days to complete.
-
Check 511mn.org for the latest travel speeds and conditions.
