All 169 freeway lanes —northbound and southbound— will open between Main St. and 197th Ave. by Wed evening, Nov. 1.

The entire Jackson/193rd Ave. interchange will open, includes the signal system and ramps to/from southbound and northbound Hwy 169 will open by Wed evening, Nov. 1.
Update: School St. interchange opens Fri, Nov. 3
The entire School St. interchange will open, includes the signal system and ramps to/from southbound and northbound Hwy 169 will open by noon Fri, Nov. 3.
It will take a full day to open the work zone. Please be patient and expect changes.

Overall motorists will continue to encounter periodic lane closures at off-peak hours as crews complete 2023 tasks along 169.
Temporary accesses used to assist with local traffic will also be removed once the new lanes open, which includes the signal at Gates Ave./Main St. and the compact roundabout on Evans St.
Off-road work may occur year round. When the ground freezes, work operations will suspend for the 2023–2024 winter season.
Schedule is tentative and based on good weather conditions.

Hwy 169 and Main St.
In spring 2024, crews will return to construct the last Hwy 169 interchange at Main St. A project open house will be held in spring and more details will be provided once closer.
