Benton Co. Rd. 1 closes

Access route changes Sept. 27–Oct. 4

The city of Foley will close and replace a sanitary sewer pipe beneath Benton Co. Rd. 1 (Mayhew Lake Rd. NE) between E St. Germain St. and Quebecor Rd. NE in St. Cloud. The closure will begin at 9 a.m. Wed, Sept. 27 and reopen by Wed, Oct. 4.

The detour route from eastbound Hwy 10 to eastbound Hwy 23 will change. Motorists will use Golden Spike Rd., Co. Rd. 1, 14th Ave., E St. Germain St. back to the Co. Rd. 1/Hwy 23 intersection.

Eastbound Hwy 10 to Eastbound Hwy 23 detour goes around the closure on 14th Ave. and E St. Germain St. back to Co. Rd. 1

Hwy 10 and Hwy 23 remains one lane in each direction, 24–7, through the interchange work zone until Nov. 1.

More about this St. Cloud interchange project

When complete in November 2024, the interchange project will provide a smoother road surface, and improve motorist and pedestrian safety and access throughout. This is a long-term, 60-plus year investment in our infrastructure.
