MnDOT seeks responses from workforce centers, community-based organizations, training institutions, colleges, and trades associations to develop and administer at least one program in highway construction career development and training.
The program(s) to be developed and delivered:
- A statewide youth program that will, over the course of two years: provide hands-on opportunities to explore construction trades and career opportunities; explain highway construction industry prospects and requirements; deliver a highway construction career orientation; and overall generate interest in highway construction for high school students or individuals aged 14-24 who are minorities, women, or otherwise disadvantaged individuals.
The selected entity will work with MnDOT staff and current On-the-job Training Support Services vendors to ensure that services are consistent throughout MnDOT OJT Support Services programs.
- Questions regarding this RFP must be received by MnDOT no later than 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on Sept. 5, 2023

Deadline
All responses must be received via email with a time stamp of no later 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on Sept. 28, 2023. Late responses will not be considered.
