Last week's work at the Highway 34 and Highway 9 intersection went as planned—crews completed the utility tie ins and reconstruction. There is some remaining work in this area to complete, so expect to see workers and equipment, and obey traffic control.
The intersection will remain gravel until Phase 1 paving takes place in August.
As for the rest of Phase 1, while sanitary sewer work continues, water and storm sewer replacements are complete! Weather/schedule permitting, concrete crews are expected to start on curb and gutter in Phase 1 during the week of July 17, followed by sidewalks!

Wishing you a safe and happy Fourth of July! If traveling, make sure to check 511mn.org for work zones, detours and other traffic impacts statewide.
