2023 legislative update The Minnesota legislature adjourned on May 22, 2023 passing a transportation omnibus bill and two capital investment/bonding bills that provide an increase in funding for transportation across the state and to MnDOT, counties, state aid cities, small cities and townships. Environmental reminders As we close out Fiscal Year 2023 and look to the next cycle of projects this is a great time to go over some reminders. Projects should try and start the environmental documents as soon as practically possible. Read more environmental reminders.

2023 FHWA 1392 Report reminder It’s time to start thinking about the 2023 FHWA 1392 Report. MnDOT Office of Civil Rights will need to know which contractors were working on federal aid projects across the state during the last full week of July. Read more on FHWA 1392 Report reminder.

Continue to report traffic control devices using a statewide interim approval Minnesota has received Statewide Interim Approvals for several traffic control devices.
