More than 160 schools had students rolling to school on May 3

More than 160 Minnesota schools participated in Bike to School Day on May 3! This national event encourages bicycling (or walking) to school. Students gain the health and academic benefits of a little bit of exercise before school while having fun riding bicycles with their friends.

And after a long winter, we were thrilled to see so many happy students out biking and walking enjoying Minnesota’s springtime. Gov. Tim Walz also signed a proclamation in support of Bike to School Day. Here’s a few photos from across Minnesota.
