Hwy 10 reduces to one lane, each direction, 24–7
Travelers will encounter changes as the Hwy 10 work zone transitions between Benton Dr. SE and 15th Ave. SE. the week of May 1. Here's what will occur:
-
WB Hwy 10 will be reduced to one lane, 24-7, as crews repair and resurface the westbound side on Mon, May 1
-
EB Hwy 10 will be reduced to one lane, 24-7, on the westbound side of the road on Thu, May 4
- Interchange access:
- EB Hwy 10 to WB Hwy 23 ramp will close
- EB Hwy 10 to EB Hwy 23 loop ramp will close
-
Detour: Use Golden Spike Rd. and Benton Co. Rd 1
Please remember it takes time to transition a work zone. Be patient and add time to your commute. Expect changes, sudden stops or delays—watch the vehicle in front of you.
Once the work zone is set, crews will begin construction in full force. Hwy 10 will remain single lane, head-to-head traffic until Nov. 1.
Work zone by Fri, May 5. Hwy 10 will be reduced to one lane, each direction, 24-7, until Nov. 1
Prep work continues on Hwy 23
Hwy 23 will continue to have periodic lane closures in each direction between Wilson Ave. and 25th Ave. NE. Crews continue to construct temporary lanes, crossovers and make repairs to the road surface for future traffic movements. Some work will occur at night.
- In May, work will focus west of the interchange between Wilson Ave. and Lincoln Ave. SE.
- In late May or early June, Hwy 23 will be reduced to one lane in each direction, 24-7, on the eastbound side to reconstruct the westbound road and bridge.
St. Cloud is open
Access will be maintained to those who live, work, visit or shop within this project area; however, expect changes and use of alternate entrances, and follow road signs.
-
Fourth St. SE remains closed between Lincoln Ave. SE and the west Hwy 10 frontage road. Access open from Lincoln Ave. NE or eastbound Hwy 10.
-
Note: Lincoln Ave. at Fourth St. SE has reopened. Expect a gravel surface until paved.
