Z ARCHIVE Metro – Hwy 10 Anoka: 2022-2024 construction
Don’t forget, this weekend, Main St./Greenhaven Rd. will be closed to all traffic under Hwy 10 beginning 8 p.m. Fri, April 21, through 5 a.m. Mon, April 24. Crews will work around-the-clock to demolish and remove the remaining half of the old bridge, so they can begin constructing the new lanes of eastbound Hwy 10 over Main Street. If you normally travel on Main St./Greenhaven Rd. under Hwy 10, allow for extra time for the detours.
If your destination is on the north side of Hwy 10, here are the detour routes:
-
West Main St. to Greenhaven Rd. detour: Drivers will need to take northbound Ferry St. to eastbound Hwy 10 to 7th Ave. exit to Pierce St. to southbound Ferry St. to westbound Hwy 10
-
Eastbound Hwy 10 to Greenhaven Rd. detour: Drivers will need to continue on eastbound Hwy 10 to 7th Ave. exit to Pierce St. to southbound Ferry St. to westbound Hwy 10
|
If your destination is on the south side of Hwy 10, here are the detour routes:
-
Greenhaven Rd. to West Main St. detour: Drivers will need to take Jacob Ln. to Green Haven Pkwy. to Thurston Ave. to W Main St. to Cutters Ln. temporary signal to eastbound Hwy 10 to southbound Ferry St.
-
Westbound Hwy 10 to Main St. detour: Drivers will need to use westbound Hwy 10 to 7th Ave. exit to eastbound Main St.
Single lane traffic on Hwy 10 will remain open. Crews will work 24-hours a day during the weekend closure, and residents in the area may experience some around-the-clock noise, lights and vibrations.
All construction activities are tentative and subject to change due to weather, schedule and unforeseen impacts.
