Good news, trail users—the new Lake Wobegon Trail bridge is open for you to explore by bike, on foot or rollerblade!
Lake Wobegon Trail meets Central Lakes State Trail
The bridge over Hwy 27 in Osakis is the point where the Lake Wobegon Regional Trail connects with the Central Lakes State Trail.
The Lake Wobegon Regional Trail is a paved 65-mile-long trail that connects ten communities. From Waite Park to Osakis, trail users will encounter church steeples, colleges, cows and lakes. Downtown Osakis is home to one of 12 trailheads, which is located just two blocks south of Lake Osakis. Restrooms are available at the city offices just south of the trail on the corner of Central Ave. and Main St.

While access is maintained for those who live, work or visit Osakis, remember this area is an active work zone. For everyone's safety, please reduce your speed, stay out of closed areas and always watch for workers and equipment.
