It's Turkey Days in Frazee this weekend! With paving nearly complete in Phase 3 (in front of the school), crews will be moving equipment out of the way in this phase to make room for the festivities that will be taking place at the school.
Reminder: Phase 1 (Hwy 10 to CR 10/Juniper Ave) remains closed, as utility replacements continue. The Phase 1 detour route is Highway 10 and CR 10/Juniper Avenue.
The Town Lake beach has been reopened for public use, but a reminder that underground work in this area is still ongoing. Cones, barrels and barricades are up for your safety, so please do not enter any closed areas. If you're heading to the beach for any of the Turkey Days events, use Second Street SW.
Crews are paving in Phase 3 (in front of the school) this week! Once the paving is done, cones will be used as a temporary centerline until Phase 1 work is done and they can complete final striping in both areas.
With Phase 1 wrapping up, finishing up Phase 3 will be the main focus through the second week of August. Once Phase 1 is done, crews will move to Phase 2 and 4.
Crews pave the eastbound lane of Hwy 87 in Phase 3
Paving operations take place near North River Drive in Phase 3 of the Hwy 87 project
