Here’s what to expect July 30 to early September:
-
Open July 30 to Aug. 8: Business Highway 371 will be open to all traffic, includes accesses to/from the highway for the week of the Crow Wing County Fair. The Business Hwy 371 intersection at Buffalo Hills Ln/Industrial Park Rd will remain an all-way stop.
-
Closes Aug. 8 to early September: Business Hwy 371 will close and detour from south of Greenwood St. to Buffalo Hills Ln./Industrial Park Rd. in Brainerd. Detour uses Hwy 371 to Hwy 210 Baxter back to Business Hwy 371 in Brainerd.
- The Business Hwy 371 intersection at Buffalo Hills Ln./Industrial Park Rd. will remain an all-way stop until fall when the new signal system is operational.
- Access will be open and maintained to those who live, work or visit residents, businesses and healthcare facilities along the work zone; however, expect access changes and gravel surfaces.
- The west access to Greenwood St. to/from Business Hwy 371 will be closed to realign the intersection. Use Buffalo Hills Ln.
Detour map
Crews will continue onto the second work segment on Business Hwy 371 from Buffalo Hills Ln./Industrial Park Rd. to south of Greenwood St. in Brainerd on Aug. 8. Traffic will detour Hwy 371 to Hwy 210 Baxter to Business Hwy 371 Brainerd.
For the full duration of this project, expect to encounter periodic lane, sidewalk or shoulder closures as crews complete tasks along the entire work zone.
Safety is our first priority
