2022 Highway Safety Improvement Program solicitation Due to recent passing of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) bill, there are extra funds available for the 2023 Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP). MnDOT will open a short solicitation cycle for our local transportation partners in greater Minnesota beginning in July. A webinar will be held August 16, 2022 from 11 a.m. - noon.  Read more on the HSIP solicitation.

Help MnDOT prioritize investments to the state highway system MnDOT is updating the 20-Year Minnesota State Highway Investment Plan (MnSHIP) and we are looking for your feedback! MnSHIP guides future investment decisions to maintain and improve the state highway system.   Read more on MnSHIP.

Electronic yellow tags When property is damaged during a vehicle crash, police officers fill out and then attaching to the damaged property a yellow tag. MnDOT has created a process which will, at the time of the crash, have the police officer enter the data electronically.
