Z ARCHIVE Metro – Hwy 10 Anoka: 2022-2024 construction
Starting next Wed, June 22, the short section of Hwy 10 Service Rd. between the Kwik Trip and Cutters Ln. will be closed through approximately mid-November as crews construct the new road. Drivers will need to use Cutters Ln. and Cutters Grove Ave. to get around the closure area.
Bird’s eye view of Hwy 10 construction progress
The traffic impacts and concrete barriers don’t really allow the opportunity to safely see the work that’s progressing. Take a few minutes to check out this recent drone video with an overhead view of Hwy 10 construction between 7th Ave. and Thurston Ave.
More about this project
MnDOT and the City of Anoka are working together to reconstruct and improve roads and bridges on Hwy 10 between Thurston Ave. and 7th Ave. through Anoka. When complete, the two-year Hwy 10 Anoka project will improve traffic flow, decrease traffic delays and increase safety. Construction is anticipated to be completed in spring 2024.
Drivers should plan for delays when travelling on Hwy 10.
