Westbound I-94 closure May 13-16

Construction crews will have two more weekend closures for the 35W@94 project over the next two weekends to finish warranty work.

Beginning at 10 p.m. Fri, May 13, crews will be conducting warranty concrete repairs on westbound I-94 and the road will be closed between I-35W and Nicollet Ave. Plan for extra time traveling to your destinations and follow the signed detours using I-394, Hwy 100 and Hwy 62 to get around the closures.

During the closure the following ramps will also be closed starting at 9 p.m.:

• Washington Ave./4^th St. to westbound I-94
• I-94 to 11^th St.
• I-35W to I-94
• 16^th St./4^th Ave. to westbound I-94

All lanes and ramps are expected to reopen by 5 a.m. Mon, May 16.

*All closures are weather permitting and subject to change.

When possible, motorists should avoid cutting through neighborhoods and help keep the community safe by using posed detour routes.
