2022 Construction: Hwy 55 Wendell to State Line

Join MnDOT on April 19 for a public open house

You're invited to attend MnDOT's upcoming open house to get more information about this year's construction project on Highway 55 between Wendell and the MN/ND state line. 

When: Tuesday, April 19, from 4:30 to 7 p.m.
Where: Campbell Community Center, 502 Fifth Street, Campbell, MN
Who: Residents, business owners and commuters

There will be no formal presentation. Please stop in whenever it is convenient.

This construction season, MnDOT will resurface and replace four box culverts on Highway 55 between Wendell and the MN/ND state line. The project is scheduled to start May 16 and is expected to be completed by the end of July.

The work will be completed in three stages, with operations starting on the east end near Wendell, moving west. Visit the project website to view detour maps.

In addition to MnDOT, representatives from Grant County and Wilkin County will also be in attendance at the open house to provide information about upcoming projects on their county highway systems that may impact area travelers. Please join us all on April 19 if you can!

Can't attend the open house?

No problem! For those who can't make it or prefer to get information virtually, all construction information will be available on the project website. There, you can submit comments and questions via an online form or contact MnDOT.

• Hwy 55/59 Elbow Lake to Barrett: July - October, road closed/staged detours.
