As reconstruction work progresses on northbound I-35W, crews are ready to pour the curb and gutter on the ramp from eastbound I-94 to northbound I-35W. To do this safely, we need to close the ramp beginning Mon, July 12 through Fri, July 16. Motorists should follow the posted detour.
In addition, the ramp from 5th Ave. to northbound I-35W will also close on Mon, July 12 to allow crews to pour the curb and gutter along the ramp. It will reopen by Fri, Sept. 10.
31st Street daytime closures July 6-9
Motorists should expect daytime closures on 31st St. beginning Tue, July 6 through Fri, July 9 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. as crews remove the formwork from the new northbound I-35W bridge over 31st St. Formwork is used to help keep the concrete in place while it cures.
Reminder: I-35W weekend closure scheduled for July 9-12
We wanted to remind you that I-35W will be closing in both directions between Hwy 62 and I-94 from 10 p.m. on Fri, July 9 to 5 a.m. Mon, July 12. Crews will be working 24 hours a day during the weekend closure. Drivers will be detoured around the closure using Hwy 62, Hwy 100 and I-394.
