 What a great transformation! The wider sidewalks and road approaches along the south side of Hwy 210 is open east of the hospital to the Hwy 6/Hwy210 intersection in downtown Crosby. Crews will now reconstruct the north side sidewalk.
Crews reconstruct north side of Hwy 210 in east Crosby
- The south side (westbound lanes) of Hwy 210 open on the new road surface from Cross Ave. to east of the Cuyuna Hospital in Crosby. Construction crews will now reconstruct the north side (eastbound lanes).
- New sidewalk is open along the south side of Hwy 210 (Main Street) between the Hwy 210/Hwy 6 intersection downtown through east limits of Crosby. Crews will now reconstruct the north side sidewalk.
Through Ironton
- The south side sidewalk and parking along Hwy 210 remains closed from Second Street SW, near Serpent Park in Crosby, to the west limits of Ironton, west of Eight Ave. The north side sidewalk is open.
Project remains on schedule.

Hwy 210 open
Watch for crews, equipment and follow construction road signs. Here's what to expect:
- Narrow lanes, lane shifts, turn-lane closures
- Access closures, use back entrances or side streets
- Sidewalks closures on one side, but open on the other side
- No parking along Hwy 210
- Hospital emergency access open 24/7 from Third Ave. SE
- Truck detour (Deerwood shortcut) along Crow Wing Co. Rd. 12 between Brainerd/Riverton and Deerwood

Crosby-Ironton is open for business
Access to businesses and residences will be open and always maintained, however expect changes and use of alternate accesses. Visit the local C-I Sidewalk Scoop Facebook page for home town events, news and deals.

New sidewalk open along the south side of Hwy 210, in front of the Cuyuna Regional Hospital. Once both sides of the road are reconstructed, crews will pave one final layer (lift) of asphalt and install permanent road markings. Hwy 210 remains open to two-way traffic through Crosby and Ironton. Detour in downtown Crosby to begin in June. |
