Heads up northbound I-35W drivers! Crews will be making some traffic changes on northbound I-35W between Hwy 10 in Arden Hills and Lake Dr. in Blaine beginning tonight, Sept. 23.
In general, if you are traveling north and do not need to exit at any of the local roads, use the left through lane that will be separated by concrete barriers. If you need to exit to the local roads, stay in the right lane.
Below are the details of what you can expect beginning at 10 p.m. tonight, Sept. 23:
- As drivers on northbound I-35W approach Hwy 10, they will need to choose between the left lane, which is a through lane with no exits, or choose to stay in the right lane to access local exits.
- Drivers who want to exit to the local roads of Co. Rd. J, Lake Dr., 95th Ave. and Lexington Ave. will need to remain in the right lane.
- The driving lanes will be divided by concrete barriers.
Week of September 28
- Paving on NB I-35W between Lake Dr. and Sunset Ave. will be completed and concrete barriers separating the driving lanes will be removed.
- The driving lanes between Hwy 10 and Lake Dr. will still be divided by concrete barriers.
- Drivers who want to exit to the local roads of Co. Rd. J and Lake Dr. will need to remain in the right lane.
