Hwy 32 detour is lifted! Yay! Hwy 1 detour begins. :(

Hwy 1 Roundabouts in TRF
- This week: Crews continued installing drainage structures and grading. They began pouring concrete curb on the roundabout at Brooks Ave.
- Next week: Crews will begin building the Frontage road connection to Westside Motors.

Hwy 32 Roundabout at CR 8/Mark Blvd
- This week: Prep for paving.
- Next week: Paving begins. Phase 2 will include the construction of the Mark Boulevard leg of the roundabout.
- Traffic Impacts: Continued use of bypass lane

CR 8/Mark Blvd route extension and roundabout
- This week: Crews have been working on installing beams in the middle span of the bridge. Water levels have delayed the work. Crews have been progressing on the Challenger School roundabout with grading and installation of aggregate.
- Next week: Aggregate installation will continue between the roundabout and the bridge.
- Traffic Impacts: The intersection at Pennington Ave near Challenger Elementary is currently closed and a detour is in place.
- Detour onto Greenwood St, Hwy 59 and 140th St NE (See picture below)

Westside flood damage reduction Projects

- Construct a diversion channel and drainage infrastructure on the west side of TRF. Underground storm sewer will be installed along Barzen Ave and Greenwood St, along with a new sanitary sewer
- This week: Excavation of the outlet, east of Hwy 32.
- Next week: Continued excavation.
- Traffic Impacts: Shoulder closure along Greenwood St., Oakland park Rd., and Highway 32. Shoulder closure on the north side of Greenwood St. from TH 32 to Oakland Park Rd

- Replace Hwy 1 culvert west of the intersection with Hwy 59
- This week: Crews will begin the installation of the box culvert on Highway 1 near the Petro Pumper intersection on July 15. Motorists on Highway 32 will use CR 14, CR 31 and Highway 59. Access to residences and businesses will be maintained. The box culvert project is expected to be complete by the end of July, weather permitting.
- Next week: Continued work on the box culvert.
- Traffic Impacts: Motorists on Highway 32 will use CR 14, CR 31 and Highway 59
- Replace Hwy 32 culvert south of Pennington CR 7
- This week: Culvert installation is complete.
- Next week: The subcontractor will begin forming the inlet end section in the next few weeks.
- Traffic Impacts: Detour will continue. Motorists use CR 3, CR 20 and Highway 59.
- Once crews begin forming the inlet at the culvert site, there will be a shoulder closure on the west side.
