The NRRA Executive Committee has discussed some important adjustments and changes to both the Call for Innovation and the Pavement Workshop in light of the COVID-19 situation.
2020 Pavement Workshop
With travel and gatherings restricted for all of us and no end date clear, the committee has decided it best to postpone the 2020 Pavement Workshop to this fall. As we move through the pandemic and gain understanding of how to move forward, a new date will be determined and announced. For now, please plan for a fall reschedule.
Registration will close until a new date is set.
If you have already registered for the workshop, we will reach out to you with details on the refund process.
Call for Innovation
The Pavement Workshop was a primary driver for the timeline of submission for the Call for Innovation proposals. With the postponing of the workshop and many of you making adjustments to working conditions, the committee would like to extend the proposal deadline from April 3rd to May 1st, 2020.
This means that the timeline will be fully adjusted to the following:
May 1: Proposals are due to Glenn Engstrom, glenn.engstrom@state.mn.us.
May 3-June 5: The Executive Committee members and states will review, evaluate, and rank the proposals.
Week of June 8: The Executive Committee will meet to determine the final proposals to be funded.
Week of June 15: Selected proposals will be announced digitally.
Our website will be updated with this new information. Additional updates will again be sent via email and updated on our website.
Please contact Glenn Engstrom with questions or concerns: glenn.engstrom@state.mn.us or 651-366-5531.
