NB I-35W traffic switch continues through the weekend

Nightly northbound and southbound I-35W lane closures will continue through Sat, Oct. 5, so crews can relocate barrier, restripe the travel lanes and complete the traffic switch south of the river. After 10 p.m., I-35W in both directions may be reduced to a single lane. Once complete, all northbound I-35W travel lanes from Cliff Rd. to 106th St. will be on the new northbound bridge. Drive with care and watch for crews and trucks entering and exiting the work areas.

The ramps from Cliff Rd. to northbound I-35W are expected to reopen later in the day on Sat, Oct. 5, weather and schedule permitting. If delayed, the ramps would reopen on Mon, Oct. 7.

On the week of Oct. 7, the southbound I-35W travel lanes over the river will also be switched to the new northbound bridge. We will provide more information, including approximate dates and times, in our next email update.

Please note that time frames are all approximate, subject to change and weather and schedule permitting.
