Greetings! We wanted to let you know about a new project in the Twin Cities metro area that will begin in the Spring of 2020.
Construction crews expect to start work in spring 2020 on Hwy 212 beginning west of Hwy 5/25 in Norwood Young America to Hwy 36 in Cologne. The work includes repaving/reconstructing Hwy 212, constructing a pedestrian underpass west of Morse St. adding a reduced conflict intersection at Tacoma Ave. and updating accessibility to meet current ADA standards.
Open house details
You’re invited to an open house that is scheduled for 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thu, June 20 at the Carver County Public Works building, 11360 Hwy 212 Cologne.
Open house attendees will have an opportunity to speak with project staff about several projects along Hwy 212 that are scheduled for construction in 2020 as well as future improvements to Hwy 212. The Minnesota Department of Transportation’s project team, as well as Carver County staff will be on hand to answer questions.
