across I-35W. The E. 38th Street
bridge was recently reconstructed as part of the 35W@94:
Downtown to Crosstown project. The bridge reopened Aug. 3.

This family-friendly event is open to the public and
includes kids’ activities, live music and a sit-down shared meal on the bridge
facilitated by Marnita’s Table. The three-course meal will be created by Eat
for Equity and will include halal, vegan and gluten-free options.
E. 38th St. will be closed to traffic from 2-9
p.m. to accommodate the event. Please use alternate routes during this time if
you plan to travel through the area.
