Please make sure to plan ahead and know your route before your travels this weekend and slow down in work zones.

Hwy 5 in Waconia

• Project work impacting Hwy 5 at Orchard Rd. is now complete. Project work will continue in 2018, but only on county roads.

I-35 North Metro Split from Lino Lakes to Forest Lake

• Periodic lane closures in both directions of I-35 between Hwy 97 and Hwy 8 will occur during off-peak hours for site preparation through late October

35W@94 in Minneapolis

• Beginning 10 p.m. Fri, Oct. 6 to 5 a.m. Mon, Oct. 9, both directions of I-35W between Hwy 62 and I-94 will be closed
• Detour: I-394 to Hwy 100 to Hwy 62 (PDF)
• Beginning 5 a.m. Fri, Oct. 6, the Portland Ave. bridge over I-94 will close through November

I-35W and Co Rd I in Arden Hills, Shoreview

• Co Rd I is closed at I-35W and at Rice Creek Pkwy. Note: The ramps between southbound I-35W and Co Rd I remain open.
• The new Old Hwy 8 frontage road is open between Co Rd I and Co Rd H on the east side of I-35W. Co Rd I traffic will detour south on the new frontage road to reach NB I-35W.
• I-35W traffic to EB Co Rd I and the Drivers’ Exam Station and Minnesota Fleet & Surplus Services locations will use Co Rd H and the new Old Hwy 8 frontage road

86th St. bridge over I-35W in Bloomington

• Beginning 10 p.m. Fri, Oct. 6 to 7 a.m. Sat, Oct. 7, NB I-35W from 90th St. to I-494 will be reduced to a single lane

Smith Ave/Hwy 149 High Bridge in St. Paul

• On Sat, Oct. 7 and Sun, Oct. 8 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, Shepard Rd. between Randolph Ave. and Eagle Pkwy. will be closed
• EB Detour: WB Randolph Ave. to EB West 7th St. to SB Eagle St. to SB Eagle Pkwy to Shepard Rd. (PDF)
• WB Detour: NB Eagle Pkwy to NB Chestnut St. to WB West 7th St. to EB Randolph Ave. to Shepard Rd. (PDF)
• The trail along Shepard Rd. between Randolph Ave. and Eagle Pkwy will also be closed

Hwy 169 Edina to Golden Valley

• From 8 p.m. Fri. Oct. 6 to 5 a.m. Sat, Oct. 7, the right lane of SB Hwy 169 from Fifth Ave/Lincoln Dr. to Bren Rd. will be closed

• The Hwy 243 bridge at Osceola will open by 7 p.m. Fri, Oct. 6, weather permitting and project work will be complete!

• Westbound I-694 traffic has moved onto two (of the future three) lanes between Rice St. and Lexington Ave.
• The following ramps are now open:
• Rice St. to WB I-694

I-94 Minneapolis to Brooklyn Center

• Beginning 10 p.m. Mon, Oct. 9 to 5 a.m. Tue, Oct. 10, EB I-94 at the Lowry Tunnel will be closed for cleaning. The following ramps will also close: Hwy 55 to EB I-94 and EB I-394 to EB I-94
• Then beginning 10 p.m. Tue, Oct. 10 to 5 a.m. Wed, Oct. 11, WB I-94 at the Lowry Tunnel will close for cleaning
• Beginning Mon, Oct. 9, both directions of I-94 from Dowling Ave. to 49th Ave. will be periodically reduced to one lane during non-peak hours and two lanes during peak hours until Oct. 13
• Beginning Mon, Oct. 9, the ramp from 49th Ave. to EB I-94 will be closed until Oct. 13

I-94 St. Paul to Maplewood

• Beginning 9 p.m. Mon, Oct. 9 to 6 a.m. Tue, Oct. 10, EB I-94 between Mounds Blvd. and Hwy 120/Century Ave. will be reduced to a single lane

• Hwy 3 is closed at the intersection of Co Rd 86 through early October

Hwy 7 Shorewood to Minnetonka

• Pedestrian and signal ramp work will be done at intersections along Hwy 7 between Vine Hill Rd. and Hwy 101 with off-peak lane closures through Oct. 13

Hwy 13 in Burnsville, Savage

• Hwy 13 between Hwy 169 and Washburn Ave. will have off peak weekday and weekend lane closures through mid-October

Hwy 36 Stillwater Lift Bridge

• The Hwy 36 Stillwater lift bridge over the St. Croix River between Stillwater, MN and Houlton, WI is closed to ALL traffic. It will reopen for pedestrian and bicycle traffic in June of 2019.
• Traffic has been transferred to the new St. Croix Crossing bridge to the south in Oak Park Heights

Hwy 51/Snelling Ave. St. Paul to Roseville

• Project work is largely complete. Crews will continue to work away from traffic through early October

Hwy 52 in Coates

• Access to SB Hwy 52 from the Co Rd. 66 “J” turn is closed through Nov. 3
• Detour: NB Hwy 52, Co Rd. 46 to SB Hwy 52
• Hwy 52 will have lane closures in both directions south of Coates between 170th St. and Co Rd 86/280th St. through Nov. 3

Hwy 95 Woodbury to Afton

• SB Hwy 95 is open! Although major project work is complete, some work remains. There will be off-peak lane closures through mid-October.

Hwy 97 in Forest Lake

• Hwy 97 will be reduced to a single lane between Goodview Ave. N and Harrow Ave. through mid-October

Hwy 110 in Mendota Heights

• Both directions of Hwy 110 are open! There will continue to be alternating lane closures in both directions of Hwy 110 between I-35E and I-494 as crews complete work through mid-October
• Charlton St. is closed at Hwy 110 through mid-October
• There are permanent access changes for some intersections along Hwy 110:
• Sunfish Ln. is a right in and right out  to and from EB Hwy 110
• Angell Rd. is a right in and right out to and from EB Hwy 110
• Carmen Ln/Crown Pt. neighborhood MUST turn right towards I-35E and make a u-turn in order to access EB Hwy 110
