The Twin Cities are bustling this weekend with several major events.

Plan ahead, give yourself extra travel time and check 511mn.org before you leave!  And please slow down in work zones.

86th St. bridge over I-35W in Bloomington

• Beginning 9 p.m. Sun, Oct. 1 to 5 a.m. Mon, Oct. 2, the right two lanes of SB I-35W will be closed from I-494 to 90th St.

I-35E bridges in St. Paul

• The Shepard Rd. bridge and all lanes of I-35E at the bridge will open Sat, Sept. 30 and then project work is complete!

35W@94 in Minneapolis

• Beginning 10 p.m. Fri, Sept. 29 to 5 a.m. Mon, Oct. 2, both directions of I-35W between Hwy 62 and I-94 are closed

• Stevens Ave. between 31st St. and 35th St. is closed to thru traffic through Wed, Oct. 4

Hwy 10 at I-35W in Arden Hills

• The ramp from WB Hwy 10 to NB I-35W is now open and project work is complete!

• Access at all intersections along Hwy 47 and Hwy 65 in Minneapolis are open and 2017 project work is complete!

• Co Rd. 42 at Hwy 52 is open and project work is complete!

I-94 Minneapolis to Brooklyn Center

• ALL lanes and ramps are open along I-94 between Minneapolis and Brooklyn Center this weekend, except from midnight to 5 a.m. on Sat, Sept. 30 when the right lane in both directions of I-94 between the Lowry Tunnel and I-394 will be closed.

I-94 St. Paul to Maplewood

• WB I-94 between Hwy 120/Century Ave. and Mounds Blvd. is reduced to a single lane and the thru lanes on EB I-94 between Mounds Blvd. and Hwy 120/Century Ave. are reduced to a single lane through Oct. 6

Hwy 95 Woodbury to Afton

• SB Hwy 95 is open! Although major project work is complete, some work remains. There will be off-peak lane closures through mid-October.

Hwy 110 in Mendota Heights

• WB Hwy 110 is open! There will continue to be alternating lane closures in both directions of Hwy 110 between I-35E and I-494 as crews complete work through early October
• There are permanent access changes for some intersections along Hwy 110:
• Sunfish Ln. is a right in and right out  to and from EB Hwy 110
• Angell Rd. is a right in and right out to and from EB Hwy 110
• Carmen Ln/Crown Pt. neighborhood MUST turn right towards I-35E and make a u-turn in order to access EB Hwy 110

Hwy 169 Edina to Golden Valley

• All lanes and ramps along Hwy 169 and the Nine Mile Creek bridge are open! Although major project work is complete, some work remains. There will be night-time lane closures through mid-October.

• The ramp from EB Hwy 10 to EB I-694 is open!
• By late Friday night, Sept. 29, the ramps from EB I-694 to Victoria St. and from Victoria St. to EB I-694 will be open

I-94 Minneapolis to Brooklyn Center

• Beginning Mon, Oct. 2 through Wed, Oct. 4, WB I-94 will be closed at the Lowry Tunnel daily from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Smith Ave/Hwy 149 High Bridge in St. Paul

• From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sat, Sept. 30, Shepard Rd. between Randolph Ave. and Eagle Pkwy. will be closed
• EB Detour: WB Randolph Ave. to EB West 7th St. to SB Eagle St. to SB Eagle Pkwy to Shepard Rd. (PDF)

Hwy 3 in Castle Rock

• Hwy 3 is closed at the intersection of Co Rd 86 through Oct. 4

• Hwy 5 is now open at Orchard Rd. There will be intermittent lane closures as trail work is completed through late September.

• Pedestrian and signal ramp work will be done at intersections along Hwy 7 between Vine Hill Rd. and Hwy 101 with off-peak lane closures through Oct. 1

Hwy 13 in Burnsville, Savage

• Hwy 13 between Hwy 169 and Washburn Ave. will have off peak weekday and weekend lane closures through mid-October

I-35W and Co Rd I in Arden Hills, Shoreview

• The ramp from NB I-35W to Co Rd I is closed through November
• Detour: Co Rd 10/Mounds View Blvd. to Co Rd I

Hwy 36 Stillwater Lift Bridge

• The Hwy 36 Stillwater lift bridge over the St. Croix River between Stillwater, MN and Houlton, WI is closed to ALL traffic. It will reopen for pedestrian and bicycle traffic in June of 2019.
• Traffic has been transferred to the new St. Croix Crossing bridge to the south in Oak Park Heights

Hwy 51/Snelling Ave. St. Paul to Roseville

• Project work is largely complete. Crews will continue to work away from traffic through early October

Hwy 52 in Coates

• Access to SB Hwy 52 from the Co Rd. 66 “J” turn is closed through Nov. 3
• Detour: NB Hwy 52, Co Rd. 46 to SB Hwy 52
• Hwy 52 will have lane closures in both directions south of Coates between 170th St. and Co Rd 86/280th St. through Nov. 3

• Hwy 97 will be reduced to a single lane between Goodview Ave. N and Harrow Ave. through mid-October

Hwy 243 Osceola Bridge

• The Hwy 243 bridge at Osceola is closed through early October
• Detour: While the bridge is closed, the detour will lead traffic north to cross at Taylors Falls
• Note: Access to the Osceola Landing will be maintained from the Minnesota side of the bridge throughout construction
