Metro area weekend traffic impacts: May 26-29

As you prepare for travel this Memorial Day weekend, here are the projects across the Metro area. Plan ahead and know your route.

Hwy 47 and Hwy 65 in Minneapolis

• Access to and from Hwy 47/University Ave. at 20th Ave. is closed through June 5

• Drivers will have three westbound travel lanes and two eastbound travel lanes throughout the holiday weekend from Sat, May 27, through Tuesday morning, May 30

I-94 Minneapolis to Brooklyn Center

• Beginning Tue, May 30, the ramp from Lyndale Ave. to westbound I-94 and the Dowling Ave. HOV ramp to eastbound I-94 will both be closed

Hwy 169 Edina to Golden Valley

• Beginning Tue, May 30, the Cedar Lake Rd ramp to NB Hwy 169 will be closed through June 13

• Beginning Tue, May 30, westbound I-694 will be reduced to a single lane between Rice St. and Victoria St. daily overnight from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through Sat, June 3

Hwy 10 at I-35W in Arden Hills

• The ramp from westbound Hwy 10 to northbound I-35W is closed through late-August.

I-35E bridges in St. Paul

• I-35E will be have two lanes of traffic open in each direction through Sept. 22
• Shepard Rd. beneath I-35E will be a single lane in each direction through Sept. 22

I-35E in Vadnais Heights

• Westbound Hwy 96 between Centerville Rd and White Bear Pkwy will be reduced to a single lane through the end of May

• Eastbound Co Rd 42 will be closed and detoured through June 22

86th St. bridge over I-35W in bloomington

• The 86th St. bridge over I-35W is closed through October

Hwy 51/Snelling Ave St. Paul to Roseville

• Hwy 51/Snelling Ave is one lane in each direction between Como Ave and Hwy 36 through October

Hwy 95 at St. Croix Crossing

• Both northbound and southbound lanes of Hwy 95 will be reduced to one lane under the bridge through early-June

Hwy 110 in Mendota Heights

• Eastbound Hwy 110 between Lexington Ave and I-494 will be a single lane where crews are present through June 11
